Spurs’ DeMar DeRozan chases away man following home invasion

Former Toronto Raptors guard DeMar DeRozan and his family are safe after coming face to face with a home invader last month.

According to TMZDeRozan heard a commotion upstairs where his children were hanging out at his Los Angeles-area home on November 19.

A source told the celebrity news site that DeRozan – who currently plays with the San Antonio Spurs – “kicked the man out of his house.”

The intruder’s intended target appeared to be Kylie Jenner’s house, but he had made a mistake.

A man was later arrested in an attempt to re-enter the gated community.

Justin Bergquist has been charged with one count of burglary, according to TMZ.

DeRozan said he and his family were doing well after the spooky encounter.

“I grew up in Compton, California,” he told ESPN the Saturday. “I have lived worse.”
