Electronic Music Veteran Nick Halkes Joins JV with Sentric Music Group and Assumes A&R Consultant Role
UK based Sentric Music Group has partnered with Nick Halkes, seasoned artist director and co-founder of XL Recordings.
Halkes will join the group as an A&R consultant and seek to recruit writers in partnership with the independent publisher.
Along with future signings, Halkes will also work with existing clients on creative development and growth.
Halkes has a track record of signing and developing talent in dance and electronics spanning three decades.
He was co-founder of XL Recordings where he signed The Prodigy, SL2 and more, before launching Positiva and developing this label into an imprint of power.
Over the past few years as a manager, Halkes has worked with Liam Howlett (The Prodigy), Radio One artist / DJ Rene LaVice, One Bit, Stanton Warriors, DJ Fresh and more.
He’s also remixed Melanie C and Kylie as “Nick Reach Up” in recent months.
Its management and production activities will continue alongside its partnership with Sentric.
The partnership supports the expansion of the electronics division of Sentric Music Group.
