One of my favorite things to do lately is to go back and look at the travel photos of the past few years. Sometimes I can’t even believe how many places we have been. Funny how time gives you perspective because I really remember feeling like we haven’t traveled sufficient, and yet now I look back and think it’s amazing how much we’ve been able to see. This photo above was from a trip to Barcelona with my mom and brothers, for my brother Tucker’s 30th birthday.
As I see more people getting vaccinated, including family and friends, it gives me such relief. I know we’re not out of the woods yet, but I’m finally starting to feel like there’s a light at the end of a very long tunnel. I’m actually thinking of the trip now, and where we might take Marin with her first trip (although we had to figure out his motion sickness first, poor thing). Honestly, I’m not even in a rush to get anywhere, just the fact that it looks like a possibility soon makes me happy. It doesn’t take much these days, that’s for sure.
