How to Heal: Rejection, Ghosting, Controlling & Abuse
Have you ever felt the weight of rejection, ghosting, coercive control or abuse?
Unbeknownst to many, being treated in this manner creates a learned behaviour on the part of the receiver, meaning you start to accept these situations as ‘normal’ and can become conditioned to believe the untruths you are being told.
Being treated in this way can really stay with you and can leave you with less desirable thinking patterns and relationship habits. You might find yourself being drawn to relationships with similar characters because it becomes unusual to be treated properly. You might find yourself in self sabotage or self-destruct mode when you stumble upon a good relationship, because it is not something you recognise.
The good news however, is that since this sort of learned behaviour is built up over time, you can just as easily unlearn your negative patterns and untruths you’ve been led to believe.
