José J. López has been appointed new Chief Medical Officer at Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale

Jose J. López has been officially appointed Chief Medical Officer of Holy Cross Health in Fort Lauderdale.

Dr López will lead all medical staff and healthcare professionals, including Holy Cross Medical Group. He will also be responsible for the administrative and operational responsibilities of Holy Cross Health.

Dr. Lopez received his MD, completed residency, and was chief resident in emergency medicine at the University of Massachusetts. He received an MBA in Medical Services Management from Johns Hopkins University and a Certificate in Healthcare Delivery Management from Harvard Business School. Dr López received a Bachelor of Science degree from Tufts University.

Dr. Lopez served as the Managing Director of Healthpoint Hospital in Abu Dhabi, where he positioned the hospital as a dominant supplier in the local market, serving nearly 1,700 patients per day.
