It’s a cold and rainy morning here, better than cold and snowy I think (?), The forecast shows up to 10 inches in Vermont. Spring begins to appear here with small extracts of the flowers. We took Marin to Blithewold this week to visit the grounds for their daffodil days. Taking a little time out during the day to do something like this got me thinking a lot. Covid (and motherhood) has changed my approach to work so much. I have always been so focused on my job. Everything revolves / revolved around work, productivity, “agitation”. I ask myself more and more “why?” Much of how I’ve measured my own personal worth and my own idea of success is related to work, and I realize that’s an incredibly narrow point of view.

Probably a little too much to unpack as I write this short intro to weekend reading, but something I’ve thought about a lot. On that note, I’m getting ready to do my weekly social media signing for the weekend. I wish you all a restorative leave no matter what looks like you.

If you’re looking for something to buy, try, read, share, or pin, we’ve got you covered. Here is the best of the week …
