What’s new in the Vintage Frills store

I have been very busy over the past few weeks working on my vintage shop. I love bringing you beautiful, durable vintage clothing and accessories to add some cheer to your wardrobes. I added so many beautiful items that I love last week. My latest additions feature lots of cute vintage prints, cute jewelry, and a size range from 6-18. I thought I’d share this week’s new stuff with you and hope you like them as much as I do!

The shop has a lot of items to mix and match, as I always try to create collections that work well together, so you can pair the cute dresses with cute knits and cute accessories to create great vintage outfits or just plain as a source of inspiration to associate pieces with clothes you already have in your wardrobe. Of course, there are a lot of cute vintage dresses out there, because we all know that’s what I love the most! This time I went for flowers and blue tones and some really pretty lace details. All dresses are perfect for spring before summer and channel the gorgeous British countryside, cottagecore look and lovely romantic charm. Shop – broochcardigandress

One of my favorite pieces is this original 1950s dress, which not only has the prettiest bow pattern, but also Victorian-inspired lace details and cute rhinestone buttons. Best of all, it’s in a UK size 16. I always find it harder to find 50s dresses in sizes larger, even in my size which is a 14, so I was delighted to add this beauty to the collection. Shop – dress

My last collection contained a lot of cute Laura Ashley dresses, which were so popular that I worked hard to find a few more. This pretty floral cotton dress has a lovely lace collar, pockets and lots of romantic charm. Shop – dress

Another beautiful Laura Ashley dress from the collection, I love the striped floral print, which reminds me of regency striped textiles and wallpaper and of course those iconic romantic puff sleeves. Shop – dress

If you prefer something a little simpler, this pretty vintage St Michael dress with matching belt is a staple in your wardrobe that will accompany you throughout the season. The styling possibilities with this one are endless and it could easily be dressed up and down. I would wear this one with my favorite wedges and a light cardigan as an everyday look. – Shop – dress

I mixed a lot of different eras this week with dresses from the 50s to the 80s. Shop – from left to right – dress 1dress 2dress 3dress 4dress 5

I still adore the cottagecore look and the shop has some cute embroidered pieces including this gorgeous vintage Laura Ashley cardigan that I paired here with a lovely 1970s Laura Ashley meadow dress and a cute embroidered shopper bag . Shop – dresscardiganbag

Another novelty is this pretty Laura Ashley cotton knit cardigan. Perfect for the ever-changing spring and colder summer evenings. The pastel colors of these two pieces are simply beautiful! Shop – dresscardigan

Why not go for a Laura Ashley double look and pair the cardigans with some of the store’s Laura dresses! Shop – cardigandresscardigandress

I also added a cute vintage pussy bow lace collar blouse, which I really enjoyed layering with some of the other pieces in the store. Here I put it under this cute ’90s embroidered sweater and gingham skirt from the store, along with one of my own vintage belts. Shop – blousesweaterskirt

He also looks sweet under this cute pink gingham dress. I would wear this outfit for early summer picnics or walks in the woods looking for wildflowers. Shop – delivereddressblouse

Or under a vintage knit. I love having wardrobe basics like this that can be worn with just about anything and make your wardrobe look the best. This cute blue knit cardigan has a lot of pretty details and the nicest silver buttons. Shop cardiganblouse

As far as jewelry goes, the store has lots of pretty things right now, including some great flower brooches. A lot of these are from my own collection which needed some thinning out, no one needs more than 100 embroidered brooches after all! Shop – jewelry

For lovers of vintage lingerie, I have this gorgeous St Michael long bra, which is almost too pretty to wear under your clothes! I photographed her here with the cute pink gingham skirt, which is another great item to mix and match. Shop – braskirt

This is just a small selection of what I have on offer, the shop currently has over 200 vintage items available. Discover the full range on Vintage ruffle shop.
