Ideation Hub to organize the second edition of the African Masterclass series
The second edition of the African Masterclass Series, Africa’s premier online Bootcamp for social innovators and change makers will be launched across the continent on Monday April 26, 2021.
The series is an immersive learning experience that empowers social innovators and early career change makers to solve pressing problems on the continent and expand their impact through innovation.
Africa today is light years behind the developed world. To provide the next generation with a better continent than the one we currently live in, it is necessary that all hands are on the bridge – a public-private partnership at its best in order to quickly pivot the continent to a position where there is has a system. it works.
To cover the lost ground, innovators don’t have the time to work alone and rack up so much trial and error when there is someone else who has mastered the space and can take advantage of it. knowledge to amplify impact.
In order to rapidly multiply the impact and evolve the work of social innovators and change agents, the African Masterclass series will bring together key opinion leaders, change agents and supporters of the African social sector to connect, learn , share ideas and team up. to generate social impact across Africa.
A key goal of the series is to strengthen the work of early-career social innovators by providing them with valuable, real-time resources and mentors to watch as they move along. This transformational online Bootcamp, provided free of charge by Ideation Hub Africa, will equip, empower and connect social innovators, thought leaders, visionaries and disruptors with experiential knowledge and deep learning relevant to the African context.

At the first edition of this series held in 2020, more than 8,000 entrepreneurs, NGO leaders, social innovators, academics and government officials were in attendance with many participants hinting at the impact of the program on themselves in as an individual and on their organization.
Building on this insightful impact, we present the second edition of the African Masterclass series, which will run for five weeks from Monday April 26, 2021 through Monday May 31, 2021. This edition uses a storytelling framework to emphasize the importance of embracing social innovation in order to propel Africa forward and accelerate the development process necessary for the continent to take its place in the global community.
According to Deji-Kurunmi, “The 12 modules in this edition aim to focus on leading budding social innovators in learning, around vision, team management, media and advertising, monitoring and evaluation and capacity training. We expect thousands of practitioners from 10 to 15 impact areas such as education, health, energy and environment, gender advocacy, financial inclusion, technological innovation, etc. and our growing community of over 12,000 change agents to connect virtually to the event.
