Tips for shaving your balls
Ok, let’s talk about grooming.
This message has been a long time coming. This blog post for everyone who wants to send their partner a subtle hint: SHAVING YOUR BALLS.
They could all use a subtle hint from time to time.
Our podcast producer, Taylor aka The Barenaked Cucumber, is perennially razor-sharp. Like, there is nothing worse than skin irritations, razor bumps and being uncomfortable there. Taylor knows it.
In today’s article, we’re going to talk about the best ways for men to shave their balls, along with some tips for avoiding ingrown hairs and razor burns, as well as the BEST razor, razor, and products. to help your S / O be on top. form there.
Let’s go straight …
Tips for shaving your balls:
♡ use the right tools
Some time ago my friend Josh introduced me to a company called Manscaped. Josh was such a fan of their mission to help men make their trash look nice and clean in a very accessible way.
So I went to the website and picked my favorites for Michael and our producer Taylor, aka The Barenaked Cucumber. Taylor has perpetual razor fire. Like, there is nothing worse than skin irritations, razor bumps and being uncomfortable there. Taylor knows it. MDR.
Michael swears by these products (we’re about to be specific) and let me say things look good on him.
According to Taylor, after using Manscaped products, his balls are fine now.
So by presenting The lawn mower 4.0. YES, you need a good razor to work with the thick hair out there.
This mower has a ceramic blade that you can adjust with 4 different guards. And it even comes with an LED spotlight that you can turn on and off so you can really walk in and see what you’re doing if you need to.
The battery lasts 90 minutes and the entire installation comes with a wireless charging system.
Ready for the best part?
It’s waterproof! So your man can shave in the shower and avoid getting pubic hair all over your bathroom floor. Like, no thanks.
There is nothing worse than getting out of the shower with coarse hairs all over your bath mat. I just did a full article on the best bath mat no bath mat ever. More here if you are interested.
In short, let’s get back on the right track …
It is important to note that this mower should not only be used on bales. It can be used on the back, on the chest, anywhere there is really unwanted hair. It’s $ 89.99 and it’s so good quality, guys. I’m telling you, any man in your life will love this.
It’s a little kit that is so good if your man is on the go. Imagine going on a tropical vacation – planning a lot of sex, drinks on the beach, swimming in the pool, BUT your man forgets his mower, has to use a nasty hotel razor and then ends up with red bumps and a razor burnt all over. UGH.
The ultra smooth package delivered with:
Crop scrub – it helps soothe the skin and may help reduce ingrown hairs. It’s vegan, cruelty-free, and sulfate-free, which is a huge plus.
Culture gel – it is a shaving gel specially for balls. It is filled with essential oils and smells like a spa. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, and sulfate-free.
Harvest razor – has 3 precision blades with a lubricating strip and a flexible head so you can all the areas. It also comes with 6 replacement blades which is so efficient.
Oh, and it also comes in a cute travel case. It’s such a steal for $ 39.99 in my opinion. And like I said, Manscaped extended podcast code to blog so follow this link manscaped.com/skinny & 20% will be automatically applied at checkout.
Literally the best Father’s Day gift. Ok ok, I know it might be weird to give this to your dad for Father’s Day BUT… don’t you always read weird stuff on this blog? Obviously you can give it to your boyfriend, baby daddy, husband too.
If you don’t want to give this to anyone, just send this blog post to the guy who needs a hint. MDR. A little wink, a nudge never hurts a chip.
♡ soften hair follicles with hot water
Big fan of really softening the skin with hot water before shaving. I take a freezing cold shower in the morning which if you haven’t tried you must. It’s so rejuvenating, especially to do The Breath of Wim Hof.
At night, I love to relax with a hot shower. The salt stone lamp is lit, a candle is lit, maybe a sprig of eucalyptus hangs in the shower (this is the best advice to make you feel like you are in a spa and have the most amazing shower experience).
Either way, taking a hot shower for at least 2 minutes before shaving will open pores, make hair straight, and give you the best chance of fighting razor burn and ingrown hairs.
A lot of guys I’ve spoken to say they like to shave their face in cold water, but the opposite when it comes to shaving your balls. I understand. MDR.
Regarding the direction of the shave… I tend to shave because I feel like you shave closer that way. Some people say to go down to avoid the incarnates. In which direction do you shave?
♡ soothe your skin after shaving
So many people (ahem, Taylor) shave and go. You need to take care of your skin after shaving it.
Grapeseed Oil is great for this, but if you’re a guy you need to check it out Toner and bullet reviver with cap. It contains aloe vera and witch hazel (just the best tonic), which really calms and soothes the skin after a shave. It’s also vegan, cruelty-free, dye-free, and paraben-free.
So there you have it, a little gift idea for Father’s Day, or a “just because” gift idea for the man in your life. And if you are a woman looking for a more article on vaginas, I am here for you. Check this article on razor burn.
