Skin care products I use for fresh, glowing skin
One of the perks of staying home over the past year (and some change) was the extra time we all had for skin care. It’s like everyone’s skin has an extended vacation, no longer being covered in foundation, splashed with highlights and bronzer and asked to hold it together all day. Instead, fresh facial energy has taken a prominent place on these Zoom calls, and healing your skin for health has become an after-school program. I’ve since fallen for the makeup look without makeup, but now that we’re back to normalcy, I wanted to share my new routine for getting fresh, glowing skin with minimal effort. All you need are a few key ingredients and quality products. See below for the skin care scoop.
Sakara Life Probiotics – shop here
I am a huge fan of Sakara thanks to their commitment to clean ingredients. I take two of these probiotic capsules thirty minutes before coffee or food in the morning. Besides giving you glowing skin, they also promote a healthy gut, improve your energy, and help reduce inflammation.
Bobbi Brown Weekend Glow Collection
Bobbi Brown knows a thing or two about creating a fresh, fresh look! Their Weekend Glow collection has been gracing my counter lately. I start by applying the Extra Illuminating Moisturizing Balm for a base that hydrates and hydrates. Then I use the Nude Finish Tinted Moisturizer for additional coverage. I love that it has an SPF 15 to protect the skin. Highlight powder brightens your skin and gives you that pore-free look, and I finish the look with their Extra lip shade for hydrated lips with a dreamy glow. My favorite shade is called Nude pink sparkle.
Hourglass Cosmetics Veil Soft Focus Fixative Spray – shop here
Hourglass has created this amazing setting spray that is refreshing and really helps keep your glow all day long. It’s like giving you an extra glow while working to keep your makeup flawless.
Pseudo Labs PHreckles – shop here
This product was offered to me and I appreciate it a lot. Pseudo Labs created this cosmetic that gives you extra glow, accentuates your skin’s natural beauty, and gives you temporary freckles that you can apply to change your look. If you already have freckles, it accentuates them even more. It’s a fun way to feel like an alter ego or your own doppelganger.
Tons of H2O
You can’t buy the healthy glow you get as a nautral byproduct of drinking water! I always have a bottle of water or a glass of H2O by my side. You would think I was part camel. Stay hydrated folks! And if you want to improve your game, add lemon to your water. It is great for your skin tone and gives you a hint of flavor.
